From the Father’s Heart: Jerusalem, Jerusalem!

If you have read this post immediately as published or if you are reading this now, you may wonder how quickly I changed the title. Well, as I published and sent the notice to some, the Lord quickly corrected me. This is not about the song nor just about Jerusalem; but this is about His heart for Jerusalem. This is about Him. I must obey.

Isarel365

Isaiah 62:1

62 For Zion’s sake I will not hold My peace,
And for Jerusalem’s sake I will not rest,
Until her righteousness goes forth as brightness,
And her salvation as a lamp that burns.

The Lord speaks His heart in truly amazing ways. I am always in awe every time He reveals or shares something. I woke up around 2:30 a.m. today from hearing the song “Jerusalem Shel Zahav” or “Jerusalem of Gold” as performed by Ofra Haza. The last time I listened to the song was almost a year ago and never remembered it until I heard it in my spirit this morning.

The song kept ringing in my heart while I continued to lay quietly in bed. After some time of listening to it continually playing, I prayed for the peace of Jerusalem. Then the Lord spoke which I heard clearly in my spirit:

“O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, how often I long to gather your children as a hen gathers her chicks!”

This, to me, speaks clearly how deeply the Lord loves Jerusalem. It speaks volumes of what is in His heart for His land and people. He has not and never will reject Israel as some Christians wrongly believe. His covenant with Abraham, Isaac and Jacob is an everlasting covenant. The following passages are just a few among many that show the steadfastness of God’s commitment, His everlasting covenant to Israel.

Psalms 137:5

If I forget you, O Jerusalem,
Let my right hand forget its skill!

Jeremiah 31:35-37

35 Thus says the Lord,
Who gives the sun for a light by day,
The ordinances of the moon and the stars for a light by night,
Who disturbs the sea,
And its waves roar
(The Lord of hosts is His name):

36 “If those ordinances depart
From before Me, says the Lord,
Then the seed of Israel shall also cease
From being a nation before Me forever.”

37 Thus says the Lord:

“If heaven above can be measured,
And the foundations of the earth searched out beneath,
I will also cast off all the seed of Israel
For all that they have done, says the Lord.

Jerusalem is God’s holy city. The Messiah, when He returns, will reign from there. He will bring Jerusalem and all Israel back to Himself and establish His Name in their midst for all nations to see. When I was in Jerusalem during the 2011 Feast of Tabernacles, I had the chance to climb up the Mount of Olives where the Lord Jesus used to walk and minister with His disciples. On the spot where He taught His disciples to pray (the Lord’s Prayer as it is known), the Lord spoke to me as I was wondering why the Roman Catholic Church is in control of the Biblical sites. My heart was heavy as I realized how difficult it was for the Jews to believe that He is their Messiah when in His Name they were killed in the most brutal ways. How badly He is misrepresented among His people!

I walked away from the crowd who were busy doing what normal tourists do, and went to the garden alone. I poured out the heaviness in my heart and the Lord came strongly in that moment. I heard Him in my spirit, “See, my land is divided. It has been fragmented to this day.”

While Jerusalem is not yet physically divided between the Jews and the Palestinians, and while we mostly think and pray only against physically dividing the land of Israel especially Jerusalem, God sees it as already divided. It has been spiritually divided. He is interested in not only keeping the land intact, but making Jerusalem, the manifestation of His Throne here on earth, spiritually united in Him.

That word sank deep into my heart that it remained in me for a long time. Even during my flight back to the Philippines, all I could think were those words. Hearing the song “Jerusalem of Gold” in this special way and letting me hear His lament as written above reminded me of this experience in Israel and the words He spoke to me that pierced my heart.

If you fear and honor God, if you truly love Him, may you take seriously His words about Israel, Jerusalem and the Jews if you have not done so yet.

Genesis 12:3

I will bless those who bless you,
And I will curse him who curses you;
And in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.”

Zechariah 2:8

For thus says the Lord of hosts: “He sent Me after glory, to the nations which plunder you; for he who touches you touches the apple of His eyes.

May the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob bless and keep you!

Love in Yeshua HaMashiach,

Cynthia

A Call to Intercede: Intifida is on the Rise!

Update: January 28, 2014

This morning, around 3:00, the Lord woke me up with this message: “You are not merely dealing with Muslims; you are dealing with a stronghold.”

When I heard it, I knew what He meant. The Lord was referring to Islam and I said, “Yes, Lord, I believe it is the stronghold of Islam that we are dealing with.”

It made me realize that the call to intercede is more than just praying against the ‘planned intifada,’ but praying against the stronghold behind it. It is not an armed wrestling with the radicals but rather fighting against it in the Spirit through prayer and intercession. As I pondered on the message, I remembered His Word through Paul in the following:

Ephesians 6:12

12 For we are not struggling against human beings, but against the rulers, authorities and cosmic powers governing this darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realm.

2 Corinthians 10:3-5

For although we do live in the world, we do not wage war in a worldly way; because the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have God’s power for demolishing strongholds. We demolish arguments and every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah.

In obedience to the Father, I prayed in the way that He wanted. Every Muslim, moderate or radical, is in bondage to the spirit of Islam. God wants to free these people from such stronghold and the only way we can fight against such deep-seated power of darkness is in the Spirit through Yeshua/Jesus the Messiah. The Father of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, our Father, is more than able to set them free as He will. But it is His desire that we, His children will join with Him by prayer and intercession. Prophetic intercession accomplishes the things that God desires. As the Father revealed His heart on this, He will certainly answer our prayers for the Muslims whom the devil has so deceived and used to fight against Him through Israel and the Jews; and yes, the Christians.

May the Lord bless and keep us all. May He find us faithful when He comes in His glory and majesty!

Update: January 27, 2014

These news stories on Arutz Sheva tell us that INTIFADA is truly on the rise as the Lord revealed on January 12.

Fatah Leader Calls for Armed Uprising

…Fatah Central Committee member Tawfik Tirawi reportedly told Al-Miadin that there will be no new Arab state in Judea, Samaria and Gaza in the near future, and not even in 20 years. For that reason, he said, Fatah must resume the “violent uprising” against Israel – meaning terrorism.

Hamas Leader: Third Intifada ‘A Matter of Time’

…“The intifada will not wait for anyone,” warned Yousef. “If it doesn’t happen today then it will happen tomorrow, if not this month then next month. Eventually – just as the First Intifada and the Al-Aqsa Intifada broke out – another one could break out.”

Praise God for His undivided attention over His land, Eretz Yisrael, and for the watchmen whom He appointed to call on Him and not rest until He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Psalm 121: 4

No, the guardian of Isra’el
never slumbers or sleeps.

Isaiah 62:6-7

I have set watchmen on your walls, O Jerusalem;
They shall never hold their peace day or night.
You who make mention of the Lord, do not keep silent,
And give Him no rest till He establishes
And till He makes Jerusalem a praise in the earth.

Let us continue to intercede and pray that any terror plots from all sides be foiled just as the one in this news:

BreakingIsraelNews: Al-Qaeda Plot to Blow Up US Embassy and Jerusalem Convention Center Foiled

Could this foiled terrorism be the one that the Holy Spirit prompted me to pray in the early evening of January 12? Well, only He knows; but as mentioned in this article, the Lord intervened and shifted my prayer to pray for a certain terrorist. Before praying for the Lord’s intervention in the life of this terrorist, I heard myself praying that any terror plot be exposed and thwarted wherever and whenever it was going to be. And whoever the terrorist God wanted to touch, I am continually praying for him/her. I may not know who this particular terrorist is, but I believe that he/she will eventually find the Messiah. This is happening daily among Muslims because God is at work. Below are stories of Muslims coming to the Lord Jesus Christ:

As the death of former Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon filled the news, the Lord gave me a message. On January 12, the day after the former PM’s passing, the Lord spoke this word to me very clearly as I was going to sleep after praying: “Intifada is on the rise.” On January 18, this news from DEBKAfile came out which obviously confirms the message:

Israelis engage in diplo-babble instead of preparing for Palestinian diplomatic intifada in April

Excerpt:

Abbas is fond of telling everyone that he is against terrorism. He is therefore setting up a “diplomatic intifada” – without the violence the Palestinians demonstrated in their former assaults on the Jewish state. However, debkafile’s counter-terror sources have found that, in recent weeks, Abbas and his security agencies have lost control of suburbs in the West Bank towns under their rule, and especially the 19 refugee camps which have been taken over by local armed militias.
These militias, as well as Hamas, Jihad Islami and other violent bands, are getting organized for a fresh outbreak of terrorist operations including suicide bombers.

In the Nablus and Bethlehem areas of the West Bank, some Palestinian gangs are also preparing to shoot Qassam rockets at Jerusalem and other Israel towns.

In the year 2000, the Israeli powers-that-be, led by the IDF Chief of staff at the time, Shaul Mofaz, kept Palestinian preparations for their intifada away from the public notice, so as not to upset peace diplomacy.

Israel is living amidst terrorism and intifada so it is no wonder to me that God would speak those things. Former PM Ariel Sharon was Israel’s war hero; and he was in spite of the media’s reckless and biased stories about him. Now that the former PM who is known for his valiance during the past wars that Israel fought since its statehood in 1948, and the present security threats as the hostile neighbors continue to advance their agenda to destroy Israel, it is not surprising that another intifada would ensue. His passing away was greatly celebrated by the enemies and it is just normal for them to think of another uprising against Israel now that he is gone. I believe, however, that this is not what the Father wants and so the warning that we may intercede for both Israel and her enemies.

arielsharon1928-2014Ariel Sharon: Debunking the Media Myths

For those who understand how deeply rooted the hatred of the Palestinians and their kin towards Israel, it  seems futile and impossible to reach out to them in love and peace. And yes, the peace negotiations that the US Secretary of State John Kerry is relentlessly pushing falls short of the kind that the Lord wants. Peace with Israel’s determined enemies is beyond human ability to attain and it is a Biblical fact that such peace cannot be achieved since this hatred towards the Jewish nation is born from the pit of hell. This is not simply a struggle between two conflicting people but one rooted in the devil’s hatred for God.  It is Satan’s hatred and rebellion towards God through these people against Israel with whom He made an everlasting covenant.

Genesis 17:4-8

“As for me, this is my covenant with you: you will be the father of many nations. Your name will no longer be Avram [exalted father], but your name will be Avraham [father of many], because I have made you the father of many nations. I will cause you to be very fruitful. I will make nations of you, kings will descend from you.

“I am establishing my covenant between me and you, along with your descendants after you, generation after generation, as an everlasting covenant, to be God for you and for your descendants after you. I will give you and your descendants after you the land in which you are now foreigners, all the land of Kena‘an, as a permanent possession; and I will be their God.”

1 Chronicles 16:13-18; 36

13 You descendants of Isra’el his servant,
you offspring of Ya‘akov, his chosen ones:
14 he is Adonai our God,
His judgments are everywhere on earth.
15 Remember his covenant forever,
the word he commanded to a thousand generations,
16 the covenant he made with Avraham;
the oath he swore to Yitz’chak
17 and established as a law for Ya‘akov,
for Isra’el as an everlasting covenant:
18 “To you I will give the land of Kena‘an
as your allotted heritage.”

36 Blessed be Adonai, the God of Isra’el,
from eternity past to eternity future!”

As is written, the battle of Armageddon will take place and its purpose is to wipe off Israel from the face of the earth. Although the result will be victory for Israel as the Messiah himself will come to rescue her, we cannot just sit down and relax and wait for it to happen. The Lord wants us to do something – to pray for the peace of Jerusalem; to pray for them that hate Israel. God who is merciful and just is also concerned for the salvation of these children of Abraham whom the enemy has so deceived. I felt the burden of the Lord for them when on the same evening of January 12 as I was praying, the Holy Spirit took over and led me to pray for a terrorist. I paused as I became aware of what I was praying for. Then I realized that the Lord was praying through me, for a certain terrorist. Whoever he is, I do not know; I just let the Lord move. What seems impossible to us is possible with God; what we cannot naturally do, God can, supernaturally. So, as we pray for Israel in this critical hour, let us also Pray for the Other Sons of Abraham. Let us pray against the real enemy behind all these conflicts among Abraham’s blood descendants.

Psalm 122:6

Pray for shalom in Yerushalayim;
may those who love you prosper.

Love in Yeshua,

Cynthia

Philippines, nation of idolatry, hear the Word of the Lord!

PNoy Declares January 20 National Day of Prayer and Solidarity

MANILA, Philippines – Following the series of calamities that tested the country’s resilience last year, President Benigno Aquino III has declared January 20 as National Day of Prayer and Solidarity…

…”Our unbreakable spirit and ability to recover find root in our firm belief in a benevolent God who has the perfect plan for all of us. These tragedies tell us that despite all our efforts, we are indeed powerless without God,” the President added.

It is very encouraging to hear the highest official of the land, the President of the Philippines, acknowledge that without God the nation is indeed powerless. I pray that everyone will take heed of his call to prayer. I pray that this day of national prayer be done according to His will. I pray that He will open the eyes of the Filipinos to give up false godliness and idolatry as we humble ourselves as a nation before Him. I pray that the True Church will take the lead in putting into action the Word of the Lord in 2 Chronicles 7:14 quoted twice in this article.

For all the readers and followers of this blog, please pray for the Philippines; and I thank everyone who is doing so, from the depths of my heart. The Lord bless and keep us all!

==============================================================================

My heart is heavy today as I see the ongoing Feast of the Black Nazarene on TV.  Since last week I have been praying for the Philippines as the pagan and idolatrous feast days are here again for another year. It is heartbreaking that majority of the Filipinos are blind about what they are doing for the religious idols of this nation. We have experienced real devastating calamities last year topped by Super Typhoon Haiyan (Yolanda) which left many places in Eastern Visayas in dire conditions to this day; yet as a nation, we have not awakened to the truth about our spiritual condition before the eyes of the Almighty.

As it Happens: Feast of the Black Nazarene

While the Filipinos blindly or ignorantly think that doing these religious feasts are pleasing God as they parade the idols they so believe as the image of God, the truth is that they are actually hurting Him. My dream on January 12, 2012 showed how such idolatry looks like in the spirit. This is what I wrote of the dream in “My Encounters with the Lord:”

On January 12, 2012, I dreamed of the Lord in His human form. I was with Him, singing praises to Him while He watched and listened intently. I remember singing 3 songs to Him. When I sang “He is Exalted,” His expression changed. His meek human eyes transformed into the fierce eyes of a lion. Then I thought, “Truly, He is the Lion of Judah.” Then the Lord hugged me. Oh, what a blessing I felt!

In another scene, I saw the Lord lying in an enclosed carriage. His head was bleeding profusely from the crown which was the crown of the “Sto. Nino.”

Note: The Sinulog Festival in Cebu which features the Sto. Nino is on the third Sunday of this month.

This picture below is similar to what I saw in the dream except that instead of a graven image, the Lord Jesus was Himself inside the carriage. He was very much alive and bleeding because of the crown stuck upon His head.

The Retovado Review: Good Friday, Bago City, Negros Occidental

Idolatry is not only abominable to God; it is deeply hurting Him. It is like killing Him over and over or making Him dead as I felt in the dream while He’s actually alive. My heart aches as I recall the sobering scene in my dream. People were so insensitive and blind that they didn’t seem to see what I witnessed of the Lord inside the encased carriage. Filipinos wake up! You are not pleasing Him nor worshiping Him with such abomination of parading the graven images and going crazy over those idols as if they truly can do you good. See for yourself what God says of graven images and bowing to them.

The first 3 commandments (Exodus 20:2-7) that God Himself wrote on stone tablets and handed to Moses are centered about who He is and how men should honor Him; and what He does to those who violate those commands. Doing those things are in fact hatred towards God.

Exodus 20

And God spake all these words, saying,

I am the Lord thy God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.

Thou shalt have no other gods before me.

4 Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth.

Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the Lord thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me;

And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments.

Thou shalt not take the name of the Lord thy God in vain; for the Lord will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain.

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy.

Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work:

10 But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates:

11 For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.

12 Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the Lord thy God giveth thee.

13 Thou shalt not kill.

14 Thou shalt not commit adultery.

15 Thou shalt not steal.

16 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

17 Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s.

Sadly, the Roman Catholic Church altered the commandments of God significantly by removing the second commandment (Exodus 20:4-6) that speaks against making and bowing to a graven image of any likeness either in heaven above or on earth below. The unsuspecting masses believe that there is nothing wrong with the 10 Commandments as they remain 10 in the RCC version. They did it by summarizing and splitting the last commandment in two parts namely:

“Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s wife;

Thou shall not covet thy neighbor’s goods.

God is visiting the iniquities of the Filipinos from generation to generation. It is a never-ending cycle of curse until we renounce this sin of idolatry and learn to worship only Him. The article I wrote after the Super Storm in November last year spoke of more disasters coming to this nation. After then, the Lord gave me more dreams of judgment against this nation of religious shrines and idols. I dreamed of another earthquake with an ensuing tsunami. I dreamed twice of great floods, one hits  Visayas and the other Metro Manila; particularly submerged was Quezon City especially around Sto. Domingo Church. At another time in my prayer, I saw Robinson’s Galleria and the Edsa Shrine falling from a strong earthquake. On December 10 last year, around lunchtime, I had a vivid dream of civil unrest suggesting Makati area and spreading to different parts of Metro Manila. In that dream, while the President was appealing to the public to be calm as the situation was already under control, another explosion was heard somewhere.

Will these dreams and visions come to pass? I pray that they will not. And here’s what the Lord gave me that He may not bring judgments in this nation. On Dec. 18, 2013 I woke up around 4:00 a.m. with this message:

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land (2 Chronicles 7:14).

But who are the people of God that He wants to come to Him? The Christian Church!

It is easy to point fingers to the Roman Catholics whose idols are very visible; and never mind their way of life because we know that righteousness without Christ is as filthy as rags (Isaiah 64:6; Romans 10:3). But what about the so-called Christian Church? The Lord also sees idolatry, worldliness and indecency within the Christian Church. This is how the Lord showed me the spiritual sickness of the Church.

On February 13, 2011, I dreamed that I was a bride; but my unknown groom and I could not move from where we were as the highway was so filthy. Black and foul mud filled the huge highway. The following day I dreamed of two brides again. They were my roommates who were also sisters. The older bride was wearing an indecent gown that exposes some flesh which is the exact opposite of her actual wedding dress when she got married. The younger bride’s gown looked wholesome but she was immersed in herself as she listened to the music on the radio. The song was expressing grief over the unfairness of life and sounded very worldly. As the song ended I heard the DJ said, “Why not just commit suicide?”

Since I was not yet adept to prophetic dreams, I could not make sense of these dreams about “brides.” I prayed for understanding and the Lord answered and woke me up not many days later with this message, “The bride is the Church.”

In another unforgettable dream sometime in 2012, I was caught between going to the Church uphill or the Church on the plain. This Church on the plain is a real church in Quezon City. I was in a park on a plateau  in between; I looked up to the one uphill and saw no one there. I looked down on the Church below and saw many going that way. I decided to go where people streamed. As I stood on the doorway I immediately noticed the disarray contrary to how this church appears in reality. The youth whom I know in reality as highly disciplined especially during worship, were very unruly and noisy. They were eating and laughing in the kitchen which was separated only by a curtain from the worship hall. The congregation which is also normally well-mannered and formally dressed in reality, appeared the opposite in the dream. Some where on walking shorts and slippers, some in their house dress and some barefoot. I realized that I too was barefoot as in a hurry I forgot my sandals in the park. I ran outside to go back and get my sandals; and I almost stumbled as I was going to step on the graven idols buried on the stone pavement just enough to conceal them from the surface. I stopped to look at the idols and I was aghast.

In fairness with this Church in Quezon City, the Lord revealed that this situation runs rampant in many churches in the Philippines, both big and small ones.

My dream of the two brides above had a second scene just as my dream of myself as a bride had another scene; but I will reserve that part for another article which speaks of the judgment that begins in the House of God. Meanwhile, I appeal to the Church, consider your ways and remember your first love. We cannot help those who are lost in religious idolatry and other manners of ungodliness in this nation unless we live up to our calling as the righteous and holy “Bride of Christ.” The fate of our nation, the Philippines, depends on us, the people of God. Hear His word today!

If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land!

With love in Christ Jesus,

Cynthia
