A Song in My Heart – Let Us Adore the Ever Living God!

After around two months of being sick, it is very refreshing and inspiring to wake up with a beautiful song in my heart that tells of the greatness of God. It is amazing how the Holy Spirit reminds me of a song I have not heard nor sung for years. Amazing still that He would bring back this song to confirm what I was feeling yesterday during the fellowship and prayer together with two wonderful sisters, one of whom I met recently.

Let us adore

the ever living God

and render praise unto Him

Who spread out the heavens

and established the earth

and whose glory

is revealed in the heavens above

and whose greatness

is manifest throughout all the earth.

He is our God.

There is none else!

During my sickness when my limbs were weak that I could hardly walk and climb up stairs, my children told me to seek His Word for me. My daughter gave me his brother’s jar of Bible verses which he made as a project in school. They were as happy as I was because this is what I got:

Habakkuk 3:19

19 The Sovereign Lord is my strength;
    he makes my feet like the feet of a deer,
    he enables me to tread on the heights.

Today, this message from Psalm 40 reflects what has been in my heart.

Psalm 40:1-3

I waited patiently for the Lord;
And He inclined to me,
And heard my cry.
He also brought me up out of a horrible pit,
Out of the miry clay,
And set my feet upon a rock,
And established my steps.
He has put a new song in my mouth—
Praise to our God;
Many will see it and fear,
And will trust in the Lord.

TO GOD BE THE GLORY!

Love in Yeshua,

Cynthia

  1. Glad to hear from you, Cynthia – and so glad to hear of the Lord’s healing brought to you! I too have been attacked in the physical and have been battling to regain the fullness of health that is willed and needed for me to fulfill the Lord’s call on my life. I have concentrated on declaring Psalm 27 over my health and life as my “victory cry” over this attack! There truly is power in the Word! Blessings!

    • Thanks, Debra great to hear from you again. I believe that the devil is trying to derail us by throwing sicknesses on us, but I keep standing in His Word and pressing on for God is greater in us that he who is in this world. Yes, truly His Word is powerful! Love and blessings…
